Depictions of Enslaved Black Woman, and Wet Nurses in 19th century Brazil. 

The objectification of Black Woman's bodies is represented through the practice of Wet Nurses or Amas de Leite during slavery in Brazillian cities. Depicted in the photographs, the relationships between nurses and white babies covers the reality of Enslaved Black Woman who were also mother's.
